Style Guides

I started creating style guides as an outlet for my love of content creation, trend forecasting, and sourcing vintage and unique pieces.

Through managing my Depop and Poshmark accounts, I developed these skills by curating personalized style bundles and marketing them to my 8,000 followers. Over the past four years, these skills evolved into true passions. It all began with a vintage "Paul Frank" tank top I found at Goodwill. I paired it with a skirt I no longer wore, photographed, and listed them as a set on Depop. Within 24 hours, it sold. From there, I continued sourcing pieces from thrift stores and my own closet, using social media to engage my audience and drive sales. When COVID-19 hit, I adapted by creating personalized style bundles. Customers would send me Pinterest inspiration, and I curated looks from Depop and Poshmark that matched their desired aesthetic. This not only fit the no-contact world we were in, but it also allowed me to still make meaningful connections through my love for fashion. In just two weeks, I earned $850 in profit, learning how to create compelling content, stay ahead of trends, and market products effectively to boost engagement and increase sales.
